That engine is Hawaiian Ry. #5, Baldwin const. #58686, 1925. HRy ran on the north shore of the Big Island and primarily existed to haul sugar cane from fields to mills, and refined sugar to a port. It was shut down and the rails removed in 1945.
#5 was the last engine built for the HRy and was moved to the remnants of the Oahu Railway's Iwilei Yard in Honolulu in the late 50s. There it sat with OR&L 2-8-2 #60 and other derelict equipment until purchased by the late Bob Keller and shipped to the mainland to be rebuilt for service on a two-mile tourist railroad at Lake Tahoe. When that venture failed, Dr. Keller moved it to Chama where it was stored until sold to some railfans in El Paso, TX. In 1975, it was steamed up and run arouund the Chama yard briefly. The reporting marks TTC&PRR stand for (I think) Tahoe, Tin Cup and Pacific RR.
There is another photo of it in the 1987 edition of "Trails Among The Columbine", p.157.
Kahului Railroad #12 which came from Maui and eventually operated on the Georgetown Loop RR was stored in pieces in the Chama Yard until sold to the Midwest Central. I don't know if it ever operated there, but it later wound up at Silverwood near Cour d'Alene, ID before coming to the GLRR.
