Sawyer et al -
The late-August 1968 runs were the last REVENUE freights on the D&RGW Sawn Juan extension. As noted by Dirk and Charlie (below), in addition to the movie- (and money-) making trains there were a few more NON-revenue operations in the fall of 1968. There's a fairly complete summary of all D&RGW narrow gauge freight activity at [
