I have enjoyed reading the thread about the D&SNG's early days under the ownership of Charles Bradshaw.
I found particularly interesting the statement that Mr. Bradshaw purchased the 493 with the intent of using it as motive power.
Of the three K-37's available, why was the 497 the K-37 selected for use?
From what I know the 498 was in good shape when it was stored in Durango.
I have no idea about the shape the 497 was in when stored.
What kind of shape was the 493 in when purchased and brought to Durango?
