The 494 and 495 I am thinking of were from Antonito WB. It was one of those 70 car freights with a mid-train helper. My dad and I chased this train in 1961 I believe. We went into Osier. They they did some switching and left some work cars in the siding near the tank. It was long shadows when they finally left, and we had no chance to catch it again. This was when there was a logging road across the creek, and we went to the other side of the mountain to see the train coming from a couple of miles away. Unfortunately the distant shots before Osier are overexposed, but the shots by the tank were okay(movies that is). I have a few B&W's somewhere!!! Remember though I was 10 at the time!!! Luckily dad got some movies.
I think we do have some 491 though elsewhere. Yes William I know I can count on you for perhaps my only sale of anything D&RGW NG, unless there are no K-37's at all of course!!!
