Oddly enough I own the original film that was the dvd you bought. I bought it a few years ago. In the dvd I have found several things that were not correct. Since this video is already on the market, I am using the footage differently.
I used the Southern Pacific Daylight footage already, and found that the descriptions in the DVD were wrong. I put those scenes in our release from last fall called "SP Steam Variety".
I plan on using the D&RGW footage with other things that we have on D&RGW someday!!! We did a new film to video transfer(on a Rank) shortly after we purchased it, and I think the quality is a little better than the DVD you have. Also with technology we can clean up and adjust some scenes to help here and there. Sometimes it pays to wait!!!
I wonder which engine is actually pulling the train. As I recall 375 is the yard engine, but I am thinking a K-27 probably went to Silverton. Its a cool looking train thats for sure.
