I've had a couple of emails and a phone call with the person in Tulsa responsible for this project. They are in the process of collecting all the removed parts, and putting together an RFP (the city may try a multi-prong approach, subject to city ordinances about how city property can be sold).
Based on what I heard, the City is being quite cautious, looking primarily for a good home for the engine, not the highest price. And they have a couple of reputable groups interested already.
So I don't see any C-16s or razor blades in our future.
