My Grandfather worked was a conductor for the Frisco his entire career...which began back in the steam days...kept him from going into the Army during WWII.
I'd hate to see another piece of the Frisco die off. Don't hold your breath on the BNSF(Spit) do anything constructive or worth while. They didn't bat an eye when the killed Springfield, Mo...that BN merger was brutal. They dang near killed the whole town.
I sure hope they can find a home for the ol girl.
Too bad I keep missing those numbers when they draw the lotto...
