C&C/N&C/CP #3 a baggage-express car is in the collection of the Nevada State Railroad Museum. The car was built in Jan 1881 as a combination smoker-baggage-express and then rebuilt in 1899 to baggage-express-postal.
Not everything at Harrah's ended up at NSRM. Three of the box cars that once were at Harrah's went up to Silverwood up at Althol, Idaho. Combine #8 also went up there and then later come into the collection of NSRM.
Parker Lyon operated a museum in Arcadia, California, that was devoted to Western Americana. Bill Harrah bought the collection in the mid-50's for the Old West guns and Western Americana. I recall that these items were in a seperate room at the old auto collection.
Along the way Parker Lyon added the two SP passenger cars, Eureka-Nevada 2-6-2 #7 and later the SP cabosse.
