Right off the top of my head the 4&1/4" X 8" (thirty ton truck) brasses are used on the 5 EBT hopper cars which have been instrumental in John Matthews getting the track in it's all time great condition. (Thanks John West for arranging their purchase years ago).
The 6 narrow frame tank cars based in Chama, and the 2 frameless tank cars that are close to operational condition in Antonito. That still leaves 9 additional trucks from the Alder Gulch 'work for trucks' deal left, of which one pair is going back under the 34' stock car being restored in Antonito as well.
When people donate to the bearing fund the list of cars they help make roadworthy again is huge, and the photo charter possibilities with different historic equipment is much larger. A win for everyone, so I hope everyone can do their part to help out. If you can come out and help in a work session, (I think you will LOVE the experience), but if you can't, donating funds to buy the bearings is just as important. We all do what we can, but the important thing is to do SOMETHING. Thanks!
