Some out-of-stat'ers are quick to put-down this new project. I would urge caution in doing this. Several reasons! 1. Trinidad is one of the last almost undiscovered places in Colorado and has incredible groth potential. How do I know this? My very good friend and colleague resigned from DIA and moved to Trinidad and now is very successful in the real estate business, and I am in touch with him frequently. 2. The line is in much better shape, I am told, than most realize. 3. Reed is not financially challenged and is a damned good businessman. 4. The I-25 corridor is very important and will draw from NM as well as CO. I'm not part of this deal, but for those who are quick to blow this off....proceed with caution...
