Let us not forget how this event is even in the realm of possibility thanks to the millions of dollars and hours in restorations of cars, locomotives, and infrastructure by countless donors, Friends of the C&TS, and DRHS.

So my suggestion is hitch a ride, pitch your tent, and enjoy the event from lineside or the yard. A donation to the Friends and DRHS would be a great way to also make this and future events possible.
