Real interesting pictures Fred. Thanks for sharing them.

All the interior tunnel photos seem just a little different,
Lighting, film/lens and yours are in color. Such a contrast
from being outside and seeing the mostly intact bore hidden
behind the rock.

We may have been on the same early trip with Bob to the tunnel.
I went back soon after with John Bovinger and hiked to the East
Portal where the roof timbers where still exposed making you
wonder about the rest of it.
