A lot of the poles were still standing out around Trout Creek when I "discovered" the DSP&P line in 1977. But I have no specifics on the end days for the functioning line. It might have still been operational at that time ?I was more interested in the telephone line nearby (much cooler insulators !) and the odd, short ties and apparent narrow gauge of the rails. I have never seen such a thing before, and in research (Digerness' books), discovered exactly what the South Park was all about. drinking smiley
