Don't want to hijack the Alpine Tunnel thread. Here's the grade of the DSP&P main line to Gunnison near Red Hill, between Como and Trout Creek Pass. The telgraoh poles are still there at this location. The railroad crossed under current US 285 at this location. Photo in 2004.
