One of the biggest problems that affects the amount of people who attends a Day out With Thomas event is whether it is on PBS at the time. The window that little kids are interested in Thomas is very small, (about 2&1/2 until they outgrow him about 5 years). If Mattel doesn't find a way to get Thomas back on TV again, attendance will suffer just like what happened this year.
