I guess I don't understand, Jeff. I know your personal unhappiness with the CRRM because it doesn't follow to the last detail everything that you think this museum is supposed to be doing. I would remind you that you are not setting museum policy; that is the responsibility of the trustees. I will also remind you of what happened the last time you tangled with the trustees. Personally, I have found that swimming upstream is counterproductive.
The First Amendment guarantees you the right of free speech; it doesn't not guarantee that everyone is going to have to listen to you and toe the line.
The #191 was painted the way it was painted for a reason; it is there to help fulfill the educational mission of the museum. Beyond that, I don't think a further explanation is necessary.
