Disher Trucking backed 191 onto a "kneel down" stepped trailer from it's position by the Museum building. Discher tractor pulled load into the parking lot, trailer was aligned and lowered onto the new three rail track in the main parking lot. Using our backhoe to let 191 off the trailer and Pee Wee braking, then PeeWee pulled 191 onto the turntable, then to a radial track. Disher and the CRRM crew has this down to a science. The move took only a couple of hours. Caboose 49 that was displayed behind 191 was loaded on the same trailer and paraded through downtown Golden as part of Golden's Christmas parade Saturday. It was unloaded onto the same 3 rail track as 191. Interesting movements. 191, it's tender and caboose 49 are all parked off the turntable.
