When I purchased the first printing of THE RAINBOW ROUTE the publisher included eight 8 1/2" x 11" historic railroad images suitable for framing. This included a great photo of the Corkscrew Gulch Turntable, taken from a hillside shortly after construction.
In his book, TRACKING GHOST RAILROADS IN COLORADO author Robert Ormes included a smaller photo the same image with credits showing Denver Public Library.
Interestingly. the San Juan Historical Society seemingly claims copyright ownership for this image on their website.
What are the risks and restrictions in reposting these type of images on non-commercial websites such as this discussion forum?
