But IMNSHO the only diseasels to almost - just barely and maybe not even that - make it as Honorary Steam Locomotives were the Alco PA's. When my dad first took us to Dunsmuir
* in 1952 for his annual two- or three-week fishing vacation, the PA's were already pulling the
Shasta Daylight, so in my mind they're not guilty of killing Steam like GP-9's and especially the SD-9's that started working on the Shasta Division in the spring of '54. SFAIAC, all descendents of SD-9's are an accursed race, and I spit on them every chance I get.
