However, if the hoses don't cross under the coupler, you have to be sure the hose on the pilot is long enough to give plenty of slack. Otherwise, going around sharp right-hand curves, there will be more than enough slack, but on sharp left-hand curves the hoses could be stretched too tight and come apart. If the hoses cross under the coupler, they will never be stretched going around curves.
