To Greg's remarks about Uintah #12 and the rush, interesting timing since
the crash happened within months of the acquisition of the engine. The
drop in traffic thereafter was precipitous and interesting that the mining
district though greatly reduced was not reduced to scrap giving some
outbound traffic. What was left was subsistence to the town and little
else. As I remember from one of Greg's clinics on the tank cars there were
but a couple still operable at the end. I totally agree that Mal should
conjure up one more book before he gets tired of doing such things and the
E-N, E&P would certainly qualify.
