Charlie Pressler was the engineer on No. 60 on the last run. Pressler earlier was the engineer on the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club special, which was the last common carrier passenger train into and out of Cripple Creek. That run was earlier in the month.
Years earlier Pressler operated the last narrow gauge switch engine in the district so the argument could be made that he ran the last Florence & Cripple Creek train as well.
Jack Hartman was the engineer on the 59 on the last trip with Ralph Hubbard as fireman. Tommy O"Connell was the conductor. Hartman spent some time on the Union Pacific before returning to the MT.
