C&TS Travel Plans

Hmmm .... this about sucks! I have been watching the news about the fires. Even know a guy left homeless (or is that "homefree"?) up Canon City way. For many, a trip to ride the trains is an exclusive effort to do just that. They are a long stretch of road from diversionary interests, should a change of plans be forced. I will be on a road trip, and as such, will come on through regardless. I want to see the rails, the R-O-W, the equipment. Would like to see/smell a ton of coal "perfume", but would settle just to see the place again after 30 years. Others, less flexible, might be in a bind by these recent orders. Heck, I'd rather watch the train drift by than ride it, but I will do whatever I can to support the RR and backwater communities along the way with a frequent soda stop or whatever!
