As much as I hate to get in the middle of this sh*t storm....
The post on the KFLH site was a sample email that I sent at 2am this morning to everyone I could think of, including President Bush..
If you read the line above the now infamous "effectively shut down the railroad" line, I indicated that Rio Grande could follow suit.
If that were to happen, it would effectively shut down the railroad. The content of the email was written to grab the attention of those it was addressed to, not to cause yet another sh*t storm.
My apologies to any of you I have offended by that remark.
If you do not like the sample email, write your own. It is easier for people to help if something is prewritten for them.
By the way...it worked. We have forced a meeting with Carson, Rio Grande and State Forest officials tomorrow. Thanks to all of you who called, emailed, and collectively helped beat the drum. Don't stop now. We have their attention.
