Here is an overview of the northern end of Crested Butte taken from high up on the mountain showing the start of the Floresta Branch. Floresta Junction was at 2nd Street just north of Butte where the Floresta Branch came off of the Antracite branch. It curved to the southwest back across Butte before turning northwest into the big loop to gain elevation. Around the loop it head back to the southeast before eventually heading down the canyon to the west.
