No. Both the line from Crested Butte to Antracite and the line from Floresta Junction (0.7 miles from the station at Crested Butte on the line to Anthracite) were built by the D&RG. The DSP&P was grading west of Gunnison , but the Floresta branch wasn't a case of the D&RG operating a former C&S branch.
