Thanks again, Wade. My copy of Narrow Gauge in the Rockies is still back in Colorado. This reminds me to recover that stuff next trip back.
Yeah, this isn't solving World Hunger, but for us at least, it is an interesting sidelight to our
lives.
I remember having seen some of those black and white pictures. A lot of Shaunessy's work is spectacular, even if I can't recall how to spell his name.
One thing I am pretty sure about is that the photographers of the time, as well as the authors of the books we treasure today would be very pleased to know we still care about and admire their work.
