El; You got that right! Like the old fellow who
was at the antique shop over on Blair. I never
did quite figure out if he was the owner, manager, caretaker or just what, but anyway he
was the one running it. Said he had been Jack Dempsey's training camp cook when Jack was fighting in the mine camps at Alma and Fairplay.
Apparently the fights were part of the entertainment the mining companies brought in to
help keep the miners content during the long winters. His name escapes me right now but it is in my old Christmas card list.
