From Rio Grande records dated 1950 - 58 the last date for hydro, flex staybolt caps,flue and lagging removal was 7/9/55. Last hydro 8/31/56 - operating 21 days in Aug '57 then out of service rest of '57 & all of '58.
Leased to RGS 1950 & 51. Out of service Jan '52 to July '55 except for a few days in Feb & April '52; Dec '54 and Feb '55.Started seeing use in July '55 until Aug '57.
None of this means it couldn't have been steamed up at some other occasions after 8/57.
