At close to the 6:00 mark, you can see the engineer and fireman wrestling with the Johnson bar to get it into reverse. You can see the teeth notched on the reverse half of the quadrant only go a bit past halfway and I've always wondered why some engines had this feature.

Looks like a 6" Lunkenheimer with a 5" bowl for the whistle.
