I agree....SGS(Some Good S...)!!!
I was thinking they looked a bit like those Rio Grande Standard Gauge Articulateds with the thingy on the front(shield or whatever painted) like I have seen on a book cover! Sorry am not really versed in standard gauge Rio Grande, except for our 11th our visit to Tennessee Pass in 1997(Wow what a line!).
