Bruce did things that few knew of. Years ago, the old telephone booth near Needleton was about to cave it. With the blessing of the railroad, he took on the complete restoration of it. Today it is in excellent condition on the west side of the track.

In order to replace the roofing with exactly the same type material, he special ordered it from the Home Depot in Farmington. However, when it first arrived, it was the wrong stuff. He reordered and got the correct material which is what covers the phone booth now.
