Bruce was scheduled to help with the D&SNG Fall Photo Trains on Sept. 24/25 this year. I dedicated our Bitterroot Mine run-by to him. He was a caretaker of the cabin and other buildings there. He could be found on the platform many mornings to see the train off and also was invaluable help on our Independence Day trains. He is an avid fisherman and hiker. His family IS the Durango community and hopefully once back home his condition will improve at a steady rate.
