If you've got the time, you might want to spend two days and ride the line in its entirety in each direction. Antonito to Chama is great, but Chama to Antonito is even better, IMHO. There are a number of hotels and B&Bs within easy walking distance of the station in Chama. Antonito also has overnight accommodations.
