On any day you can walk in and get a ticket to Osier and back from either end. We plan for walk up passengers when we make up the day's trains. However, the bus capacity is the limiting factor on the through trips. In July you probably could get on a through trip, but could not guarantee it.
Even a 24 hour call ahead of time would probably get you a seat.
