Rod,
Well I'd save the Sumpter Valley of course, and if the date was the end of mainline operations you would have gotten the following...
SVRy Articulated number 250
SVRy Articulated number 251
OLCo Shay number 7
OLCo Heisler number 100
OLCo Heisler number 104
OLCo Climax number 105
SVRy Davenport number 101
SVRy caboose numbers 5 and 6
SVRy passenger cars numbers 4, 25, and 26
Plus well over 100 pieces of freight and maintenance rolling stock including boxcars, flatcars, log cars, gondolas, stock cars, outfit cars, an auto carrier, a pile driver, and an old UTLX tank.
Also included would be a full mill complex, dual gauge yard, fuel and water facilities, car and engine shops, office buildings, storage sheds and warehouses, maintenance buildings, and a depot.
Not sure what all of this could have been purchased for, probably a couple hundred thousand, less if the mill was shut down.
