Mike, If I remember correctly some of the west bound trains with pipe for Farmington hade 4 to 6 box cars (mud cars) and up to 40 cars of pipe including idlers, some trains were 75 to 80 cars long. That was one of the reasons they moved the yard limit sign on the east side of Chama to the first hiway crossing . Fred I'll see what else I can find.
