The programme isn't finalised yet, but a visit by Adrain Shooter's original (not replica) Darjeeeling loco and Ffestiniog built replica coaches is definitely on the cards as part of the opening jollifications for the Welsh Highland Railway on April 20th.
The first two revenue earning trains, at 50% over normal fares and very well loaded, ran over the full 25 miles of the WHR yesterday. Fares are now normal, but because of congestion at Harbour station in Porthmadog after this week there will be only one train over the full railway each day, all other trains turning at Pont Croesor (2 miles short of Porthmadog) for this year.
