I would argue that the side number in your 1976 shot is actually 04280. A 1969 photo of this car at Rockwood clearly shows 04280 on both the B end and on the side. The lamp vent under the roof walk is also visible. Another distinct feature is the heavy horizontal strip of paint at the lower right on one side. That shows up in the 69, 76 and modern shots.
