Check out a couple of prior threads that tell the story of the recent "find" of 1008, and it's move on Dec. 28th.

Basically, it had been rotting away at the side of private home in Northridge, CA since 1989 (reportedly). We're still looking to get to the bottom of it's history since the mid-50's. If that is even still possible.
