There are as many different reasons to like or be interested in narrow gauge as there are people. Unless we decide to totally put "blinders" on, there is going to be a variety of posts, opinions and sidetracks.

Personally, I'm kind of a serious guy, I love the historic posts, restoration progress reports, and happenings presently, around the NG community. Photos and videos past and present are almost always fun and interesting to see, as long as they are reasonably on topic. I'm pretty tolerant of sidetracks, often they lead to very interesting info. I even sometimes don't mind some of the wacko stuff that happens, as long as it doesn't dominate the place.

I've been coming here for a long time, maybe 8 or ten years, I've forgotten. Sometimes I get a bit annoyed at some of the petty crap that gets spouted, but... I just skip over and go on to something else.

It's not perfect, but it's the best place around, and I'll continue to check in daily to get my NG fix! In spite of its problems now and then, thank you all for making this a great place!
