The current snowshed is of 1992 and 93 (I believe) vintage. Having worked on the structure, I can see ALL of the 2x12 skin and battons have been replaced as well as many, if not all of the 8x12 headers, and the 4x6's that stretch between the headers.

I personally have to laugh at "the public will be confused between the old and newer reproduction" arguement as it seems silly to me with so much being replaced. We were very interested when the heavy snows of the winter of 07and 08 to see if our handiwork held.
