First, thank you for all these wonderful photographs. I know the 'good old days' were not, but I enjoy the photos anyhow. The coaling tower was still standing when I first visited Durango.
The stone building is in your "Durango and its Branches" photo folder. It may be several places but specifically I find it in the photo titled "Durango as it was. This is photo #15 out of 42.
Then in photo titled "Changes begin", photo #16.
and then in photo titled "Disaster in Durango" , photo #17.
Old stonework is one of my most favored subjects, and this building must have been a dandy.
