Telluride Iron Works no longer exists as a fabricating company as far as I know. Andy Anderson moved it to a new location in the 1970s along what became S. Camino Del Rio on the new US 550, and that shop complex was torn down to make way for a variety of commercial businesses at the 450 S. Camino Del Rio address. Andy has worked for many years for the Melcher Brothers as a designer and he may still have an interest, perhaps office only, as his old company. Melcher Brothers was one of the other bidders on the 278 work, have done work for the C&TS, and built the Silver Vista Car body.
