484 presently has a different tender from when I was there. The tender it had when I worked there was the one in the 1966 pic with the water valve on the rear (eventually plugged because the valve began to leak). The evidence of a welded patch across the rear makes me think this was the tender repaired in Antonito and was 489's old tender.
BTW there is no evidence to indicate the valve on there rear was to connect it to water cars. Water cars were primarilly used to fill cisterns used by section houses.
