I noticed that, on Sunday, 08-29-10, Goose #5 still has her flangers attached. It looked to me that they were held in the up position by chains which would have to be removed manually before the flangers could be lowered. I don't know if, once the chains were removed, the flangers could be lowered and raised from the motorman's position. -- Ed
