GE U10B units

Probably the ideal unit for the C&TS would be an updated version of the U10B units built by GE in Spain for the Ferrocariles de Guatemala in the early 1970's. These are 1000 hp., Caterpillar powered units, with axle-mounted, blower-cooled traction motors. Weight is about 110,000 pounds. Two of those in MU would make really cool power for a work train. Unfortunately the realities of the exchequer make that only a dream for the time being.
