Earl; On one of the Rocky Cliub trips we had a
photo rub-by where they let us off and backed down east of the place where the tracks are close
and then ran around the loop and picked us up
before pulling on up to Cumbres. Looking at the
photo of that run-by I believe you are pretty well in the bracket with the 25-30 ft.verticle estimate.
It is hard to judge distance out there where everything is so big but from the picture I would lean towards the 15 degree curve figure and even that might be a little tight. That would be 382' R or 764' across the loop. I would be very suprised to find it is less.
Anybody got a map?
