I remember those days ( not so fondly ) ... coming out of the Sunshine Silver Mine up in Idaho during winter resulted in a fast sprint for the Dry .... Sunshine is a deep mine and my stope was 100 degrees and 98% humidity, so you were soaking wet at shift's end ..... and froze quickly on your way to the Dry.
