Just one good one - see the third photo on [ngdiscussion.net], Greg. The the second one was published as a large postcard by 'Vanishing Vistas' (Richard Cox) about 40 years ago.

For 'The Rest of the Story', do a search for "68082 jpg" + "only this forum" + "all dates", go to the second page of results, and check out the '40 Years Ago ...' threads posted back in the 'olden days' when the NGDF allowed only three pics per post.*

Thanks, Greg -
I wasn't around for the 'National Park Service Special' in late November or the "Hospital" train in early December, but Ernie Robart has published pics of both. IIRC, two of Doris Osterwald's boys were there for at least the NPS train and Al Chione was also on hand at least in December.

* I'm re-scanning almost all of the pics from those two days with a refurbished Nikon Coolscan 9000 using the VueScan software recommended by JBWX and getting much better results, although I'm still having trouble getting the colors right in some cases.
